Pastor Joplin Emberson
Joplin Emberson is the founder and Lead Pastor of The Well Worship Center. Joplin provides both spiritual leadership and organizational vision for a growing church community. With a passion for helping people follow Jesus and live on mission, he leads with a clear focus on discipleship, biblical teaching, and building a healthy, thriving church. Under his leadership, the church has developed a strong culture centered around its mission: Go. Make Disciples. He is committed to raising up leaders, strengthening families, and equipping people to live out their faith in everyday life.
Pastor Chris Hernandez
Chris Hernandez is an Associate Pastor at TWWC. His primary area of ministry is overseeing our Worship Ministries and our Internal Ministry Operations. Chris has faithfully led worship ministries for over 17 years. His heart for God’s presence and his commitment to excellence have helped cultivate a powerful and authentic worship culture within the church. Chris is also a songwriter, having written and published several songs with The Well Worship. More than anything, he embodies what it means to be a true pastor—caring deeply for people, developing leaders, and strengthening the church through both his leadership and his life.
Pastor Tony Fleming
Tony Fleming serves as an Associate Pastor at The Well Worship Center, where he assists in preaching, pastoral care, and leadership. After becoming a member of the church, Tony clearly sensed God’s call into pastoral ministry and stepped into that calling with faithfulness and humility. He also serves on the TWWC Elder Board, helping provide spiritual oversight and direction for the church. Tony is known for his steady leadership, heart for people, and commitment to the Word of God.
Deacon Kevin Wilks
Kevin Wilks serves as an Elder and Deacon at The Well Worship Center. Kevin has been a faithful pillar in the life of the church since being saved here in 2013. He leads with humility and strength, consistently modeling what it means to serve others well. He is a rock the church can count on—steady, dependable, and fully committed to serving God and His people.

Konner Neel
Konner Neal serves as the Chairman of the Governing Board at The Well Worship Center, where he provides leadership and direction in key areas of church governance. Having been part of The Well for eight years, Konner has proven to be a deeply involved and trusted leader. He is also actively engaged in the church’s young adult ministries, investing in others and helping build strong community.
David Wilcox
David Wilcox serves as the Treasurer of The Well Worship Center and is a member of the Governing Board, helping steward the financial health and integrity of the church. Alongside him, his wife Allison (Alli) serves as the Director of 1st-5th grade Children’s Ministry, leading and investing in the next generation. Having been part of The Well for six years, David and Allison are faithful and trusted leaders who play a vital role in both the operational and spiritual life of the church.
Derek White
Derek White serves on the Governing Board at The Well Worship Center, contributing to the leadership and direction of the church. He and his wife, Kaylee, have been part of The Well for 11 years. Derek brings 16 years of military service, including four years in the United States Marine Corps and 12 years in the United States Air Force at McConnell Air Force Base. He is also a licensed preacher working toward ordination at The Well and regularly assists with the preaching ministry throughout the year. Derek is known for his discipline, faithfulness, and commitment to both his country and his church.
Zach Ashford
Zach Ashford serves on the Governing Board at The Well Worship Center. Additionally, Zach serves at on the church’s security team. He and his wife, Emily, have been part of TWWC for five years and are also the leaders of our Arrows Homeschool Co-op, where they invest in and support homeschooling families.
Jarrett Neal
Jarrett Neal serves on the Governing Board at The Well Worship Center. He and his wife, Katie, have been part of TWWC for eight years and have faithfully served across multiple ministries, including both middle school and high school youth. Their consistent involvement and dedication reflect a deep commitment to the life and mission of the church. Jarrett and Katie are a strong example of faithful, engaged church membership.
DJ Erion
DJ Erion serves as a member of the Governing Board at The Well Worship Center, helping provide leadership and direction for the church. He and his wife, Jenn, have been part of TWWC for nine years and are especially involved in the church’s mission efforts. Jenn also serves on staff as an Administrative Assistant, supporting the day-to-day operations of the church. Together, DJ and Jenn are faithful leaders who model a life of service, integrity, and commitment to the mission of the church.

Pastor Ben Ray
Ben Ray is the longtime lead pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Derby in Derby, Kansas, where he has served since 2000 and helped guide the church’s mission of being “in the community, for the community, serving the community.” A graduate of Sterling College (B.A. in Business Administration) and University of Dubuque Theological Seminary(M.Div.), Ray has also ministered in churches in Iowa and Illinois and has been active in denominational leadership within the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Beyond the pulpit, he is widely recognized for his deep community involvement, including more than 15 years serving as chaplain for the Derby Police Department and coordinating local ministry partnerships, efforts that earned him the city’s “Key to the City” honor in 2022. He and his wife Tiffany have three children and several grandchildren, and he is known for his pastoral heart, civic engagement, and long-standing commitment to the people of Derby.
Pastor Josh Bush
Josh Bush is the longtime lead pastor of Cross Point Free Will Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas, where he has served since 2006 and is known for his commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and leadership development. Saved at age 21 in 2001, Bush entered full-time ministry just a few years later and has consistently emphasized the transforming power of the gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit in changing lives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in ministry and leadership from Randall University and has been actively involved in denominational leadership, including serving on the Kansas Executive Board and as a General Board representative for Free Will Baptists. In addition to his pastoral role, he has served his community as a police chaplain for over 15 years and has contributed to various ministry and nonprofit boards, while also mentoring and training younger pastors and leaders. Known for his passion for preaching and developing others, Bush continues to lead Cross Point with a focus on gospel-centered growth and community impact.
Pastor Jason Bruns
Jason Bruns is the lead pastor and founder of Evidence Church in Wichita, Kansas, which he planted with his wife Anna in 2021 with a clear mission to reach the lost, help the hurting, and restore the broken through the gospel of Jesus Christ. After being radically saved in 2005, Bruns quickly stepped into ministry, preaching within months and later serving more than a decade as an associate pastor and director of biblical counseling in Wellington, Kansas. He holds a degree in Christian counseling with extensive practical training and is known for his strong emphasis on biblical counseling and discipleship. Before entering full-time ministry in 2018, he spent many years in the oil and gas industry, even owning an oilfield service company, reflecting a bi-vocational background that shaped his practical, outreach-driven approach to ministry. A husband, father of seven, and grandfather of several, Bruns is recognized for his passion for preaching, counseling, and building a church community centered on spiritual growth, restoration, and authentic relationships.
